My Current PC (Crystal)

So my current gaming machine is running OK. (August 2007)
It's all running stock with retail coolers, no additional cooling.
Hopefully there is a lot of room for overclocking when the time comes.

Intel Core2Duo E6750 @ 2.66GHz
The price for this level of performance is just great, the E6x50s are fantastic!
Might update to Quad Core soon, the Q6600 pricing is looking favourable.

PowerColor ATi Radeon HD3870 512MB PCIe
Seems to be coping pretty well!

Corsair Dominator XMS2 RAM 4 x 1Gb
Did have the nVidia SLI stuff, but one stick was faulty and caused the machine not to boot!
The Dominator is cool, however 1066 RAM has caused me no end of trouble. The benchmarks seem to show I am not much better off than if I had significantly cheaper 800 RAM!

A-bit IP35 Pro
Pretty well reviewed board, popular for overclocking.
Had nightmares with RAM compatibility getting the Corsair sticks to run at full speed was pure hell.

ThermalTake ToughPower 750W PSU
I really like this PSU - the modular connectors are great.

Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty
This one came as a surprise to - Creative have actually made a card that does not give me a whole series of problems! The original drivers are buggy on my system, but recent drivers solve the issue (drop-outs in the audio during heavy HDD access, e.g. game levels loading).

Old hardware:

ThermalTake Xaser case
Turns out this was causing me heat problems - don't try to put a P4-style style in a pre-P4 case!
